We only replace the items (non-refundable) if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at admin@designsand.com and send your item.

Gifts

we would be happy to do that. Under the “add order note” section on your checkout cart, please let us know that your purchase is a gift and we will be happy to gift wrap it for you. Of course, there’s no extra charge!

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Received an incorrect

We apologies for this inconvenience.

We do have a stringent process of quality check and such situations do not usually arise.

We will required video proof of you opening the parcel, visibly showing all the contents that came out of it. The same needs to be shared with us within 48 hours of the order being delivered at your given addressed.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: admin@designsand.com.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it maybe take for your exchanged product to reach you maybe vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you maybe consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will received your returned item.

Please note, we are not responsible for products lost / stolen once they have been declared as successfully delivered by our logistics partners to your shipping address.

Personalized & Bespoke Orders

Because DesignsAnd offers personalized luxury eyewear, the following rules apply:

  • Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy of any measurements, prescriptions, or customization details provided.
  • Final Approval: Once a personalized design is confirmed and enters production, no changes or cancellations can be made.
  • Intellectual Property: We retain ownership of the original designs; your customization does not transfer design IP to you.

Shipping & Global Compliance

  • India: We comply with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Prices include GST unless otherwise stated.
  • International: For global orders, you are the “Importer of Record.” You are responsible for all Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and VAT applicable in your country.
  • Delivery Timelines: Luxury hand-finishing takes time. Estimated timelines are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed due to potential customs delays.

Returns & Refunds (The “Customization Clause”)

Under both Indian Law and Global Standards (including EU/UK Consumer Rights):

  • Standard Items: Eligible for return within 14 days of receipt, provided they are in pristine, unworn condition with all luxury packaging intact.
  • Personalized/Prescription Goods: Pursuant to global e-commerce exemptions (e.g., EU Directive 2011/83/EU), personalized items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they arrive defective or significantly differ from your approved design.
  • Defects: In the rare event of a manufacturing defect, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

Pricing & Payments

  • Currency: Prices may be displayed in INR, USD, or EUR based on your location.
  • Security: We use PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store your credit card information.
  • Errors: We reserve the right to cancel orders arising from “obvious pricing errors”.

Warranty & Use

  • Limited Warranty: We offer a [1-year] warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover scratches, accidental breakage, or normal wear and tear from luxury use.
  • Medical Disclaimer: Prescription lenses are crafted based on the prescription you provide. We recommend an eye exam within the last 6 months for accuracy.

  • GDPR (Europe) & CCPA (USA): We respect your “Right to be Forgotten” and data portability. We only collect data necessary for fulfilling your luxury order.
